COVID-19 RESPONSE

The health and safety or our staff, clients, volunteers, and visitors is our top priority. Here's what we are doing here at Thelma's Kitchen and Reconciliation Services:

  • Everyone entering the building must wear a mask at all times

  • We are limiting the number of people in our reception area as well as limiting the number of volunteers on site

  • Everyone entering the building has their temperature taken and recorded

  • Clients and volunteers are asked to complete the CDC wellness questionnaire upon arrival

  • Anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will not be admitted into the building

  • We are sanitizing surfaces, door handles, pens, etc., after use

  • We offer sanitizing stations throughout the building and at each entry point

  • Volunteer opportunities are all "behind the scenes" to limit interaction with clients and guests coming to grab lunch at the to-go window for Thelma's Kitchen

  • All meals from Thelma's Kitchen are to-go only, to limit the number of people in the building

  • Lunches from Thelma's Kitchen are now Box Lunches, which limits food handling, serving, dishes, etc.

  • Volunteers, clients, and staff are expected to remain socially distanced as much as possible even when masked
